Bubblings From the Fermenter

And the club moves on.

Thanks to all of you who voted for me to be the new Primary Fermenter of the Hogtown Brewers. It was an amazing vote. Akin to South Florida voting. Congratulations to the rest of your new officers; Wayne (Treasurer for Life), Sue (Vice President), and Mark (Secretary).

Ziggy has passed to me the leadership of a club that is doing very well. The club holds many events throughout the year that make the Hogtown Brewers one of the best clubs in the country. We have the Hogtowne Faire, canoe trips, pub crawls, theme dinners, our monthly meetings, and much more. In addition, the Hogtown Brewers will be hosting a national homebrew competition this fall. It'll be hard to improve on this list.

If I was to have one goal for this coming year, it would be to see more of our members brew. But I have more than one goal. I'd like to see more participation from members. I'd like to see our members enter more homebrew competitions, especially those in Florida. I'd like to see more of our members become BJCP judges, and for those that are already judges, to improve their ranking. And, I'd like to see us have more fun.

The Hogtown Brewers will have another fine year.
