North American Brewers Association awards Gold to Kelly's Cider

Melbourne, Fl. á July 8, 2002, - Breweries and Cideries from around the world
competed for gold in the most prestigious Cider judging competition in North
America. Coming out on top with a Gold Medal in the largest category, Draft
Cider, was Indian River Beverage Corporation's, John J. Kelly's Traditional
Irish Hard Cider. Hillary Jones, Competition Director of the North American
Brewers Association 2002 Beer Awards, awarded the Gold Medal.

With the judges using statements like "brilliant," "well built," "crisp clean
apples," "subtle apple aroma" "nice apple flavor" and "superb finish," an
unanimous decision ranked Kelly's Irish Hard Cider as America's best.

Kelly's Irish Hard Cider has been produced in Melbourne for 4 years. Made
with imported cider base from Irish partners, Indian River Beverage
Corporation now distributes the cider to 35 distributors in 14 states. In
Florida Kelly's is distributed by J. J. Taylor, Tampa, Champion Brands,
Jacksonville, Grantham, Orlando, Southern Wine and Spirits, Miami and World
Class Beers, Boca Raton.

This is the second time this year that Kelly's Irish Cider has been to the
top of the podium. In January, The American Tasting Institute judged Kelly's
Irish hard cider as the superior brand in the National Hard Cider Category.
Its Gold Medals were presented at Carnegie Hall this April.
