June Meeting Minutes
By Sue Smith

June's meeting was at the house of Fred Buhl. Thanks for having us Fred. Sorry for the mess. Greg and Sandra will be the next lucky suckers, I mean hosts, for July's meeting. Reminders were issued for the party at the Smith's on the 14th and the BJCP class in a week at Dave Perez's house.

Anyone wishing to enter the Commander Saaz Spacecoast beer contest and have your beers actually judged by rocket scientists, talk to Mark.

Last call went out for the Savannah trip on the weekend of the 21st. It was decided not to stop in Jacksonville for lunch and beer on the way up.

The next club contest is Bavarian wheats, followed by pale ales and IPAs. We have new contest leaders, Pete, who wowed us with his incredible stout at Greg and Sandra's last to-do, and Richard Furlong. Nice to see some new faces in the winner's circle.

Fred gave a fantastically funny and informative talk on IPAs and pale ales, which I hope he prints for those of us who missed part of it. Lots of samples were had. Thanks to Fred and Robert Riley for beer.

Sheraton Hotels is trying to be the beer snob's hotel. Think I'll go offer my services as concierge.
