Microwave Yeast Starters, or,
Another Blatant Plea for Newsletter Articles

There still seems to be a distinct lack of contributing writers to our newsletter. Come on folks, I know I'm not the only one with a word processing program on my computer. It doesn't have to be Pulitzer Prize material. There are so many possible topics Ð brewing adventures or misadventures, brewpub or beer reviews, technical articles, tips and tricks, whatever. Please start writing, but in the meantime I found the following idea for easy yeast starters from C.D. Pritchard, a homebrewer from Tennessee and a regular contributor to the HBD (Home Brew Digest).

Check out Microwave Yeast Starter Preparation.

(I personally use a freshly polished Llama, seven rubber bands, and a can of sterno to start my yeast. --Editor)
